Here's how the pump works. The rotor disk in the center is driven by the electric motor at a steady speed of about 2500 RPM. The disk is mounted slightly off-center. The five rollers attached to it press against the wall due to centrifugal force. Fuel (arrow) enters the space left by the off-center mounting -- and is forced through by the rollers.
