We mentioned previously the cold start valve. Here it is -- red arrow 1 -- attached to the air intake distributor. When the weather is cold, the valve injects additional fuel into the intake air distributor to aid starting. The thermo switch -- red arrow 2 -- detects the temperature and controls the valve.
